You're invited!

Join me on Saturday, September 10th and Sunday the 11th between 10am-5pm for Sac Open Studios!

6260 Belleau Wood Ln. #7
Sacramento, CA 95822
Studio #185

Look for the yard signs along the way. The studio is in a light industrial area and is the driveway after you see Mi Abuelita's Tortilla's sign. You can view the Guide and Maps here for this free Open Studio event that's organized by non-profit, Verge Center for the Arts. You'll find me on page 22!

Or send me a note with your address through my contact page if you prefer to have a hardcopy mailed to you.

This year, I'm opening my studio with the amazing letterpress studio of Delta Press. We'll be in the S. Land Park area. And, we'll have ice cold refreshments, tasty treats and amazing photography and letterpress creations! Nothing stuffy, just pure goofing off around art and having fun.

Hands-on Photo Demo: Saturday 9/10 at 11am!

I'm inviting you to join me in making your very own non-traditional photography project! Yes, I must be crazy to do this during Open Studios because it can be busy but I wanted everyone who came to have a ton of fun and leave with a little something special that they made themselves.

Bridget and Michael of Delta Press will also be doing demos between 11am-3pm on Saturday, 9/10. They've got the cat's meow of letterpress equipment that you never accidentally run into so if you have the slightest interest in this super neat craft of making words and images look beautiful on paper, come check them out.

One Studio. 3 Artists.

If you'd like your very own hand-printed invitation snail-mailed to you, send me a note through my contact page with your address here and I'll pop it in the mail to you. We decided to collaborate on a handmade invitation because it sounded like fun, and it was!

Inspired by vintage carnival posters, Delta Press created the design and letterpressed both sides. I then added a secret glow-in-the-dark message that you can only read in the dark. ....yes, I had to make it glow in the dark. Couldn't help myself. lol. :)

So come visit us this weekend! And visit a boat load of other 150 amazing artists during the entire Sac Open Studios event!

Cheers,

Kate
