Delta Workshop, 2598 21st Street, Sacramento, CA 95818
Create a tiny world all your own! Learn about using different types of moss and miniatures to create a self-watering plant arrangement that will last. Terrariums are great for bringing a little bit of greenery into those quiet, dimly lit areas of your home where most plants won’t thrive. They also make a perfect springtime gift, but be forewarned, once you start making these little gems, you might not be able to stop.
Moss, jar, tiny figurine and all materials are included. Limited to 10 participants.
This workshop is led by Kate Farrall, a fine artist who loves making and photographing tiny terrarium-sized worlds. She also creates experimental photography that includes exposing photos through the postal system and growing bioluminescent fungus. She holds a MFA in Photography from the California College of the Arts, a BA in Art History, and BA in Photography from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
