About

I am a fine artist who creates experimental photography that includes exposing photos through the postal system and growing bioluminescent organisms such as fungus and algae to make my images.

I've exhibited my work with well known photographers including Marco Breuer, Heather Ackroyd and Dan Harvey, Binh Danh and Ann Hamilton.

I hold a BA in Art History, Theory and Criticism and a BA in Photography from the University of Maryland Baltimore County as well as a MFA in Photography from the California College of the Arts.

Using my extensive background in marketing and outreach, I also help artists, makers and creative entrepreneurs do more with the business side of what they do. Learn more about how I help people in this way at www.katefarrallcoaching.com.
